What is Hooch Snuff made of?

Hooch Snuff is made of an herb called Pueraria, (also known as Ge Gen or Kudzu) which has been used for thousands of years by the Chinese and is considered totally safe. Glycerin is used to bind the leaves together, keep it from drying out, preserve the leaves and as a sweetener. Caramel color is also used to even out the coloring and provide sweetness. Natural flavorings are added (flavored oils and salt) to enhance the flavor. Cayenne pepper is added to provide that “sting” that is felt in real tobacco products. Our Spitfire product also contains Tabasco mash (Tabasco peppers, vinegar and salt). No artificial ingredients of any type are included in our products.

Is Hooch Snuff addictive?

Not chemically or physically. Hooch Snuff does not contain any chemicals or herbs that may cause addiction. We do not include caffeine (or derivations such as Guarana) or nicotine (or derivatives Indian tobacco known as lobelia), both of which can prove to be addictive.

Is Hooch Snuff safe?

Yes, but remember that anything held for long periods of time against the skin can cause irritation. If you experience irritation using our product, discontinue use immediately. If you are allergic or sensitive to one or more of the ingredients, do not use the product.

Are there additional benefits to Hooch Snuff?

Besides the benefits of not using tobacco and nicotine, pueraria has been shown to reduce alcohol cravings. It is said to increase the metabolism of alcohol, relieve hangovers and promote the process of regaining sobriety1*.
We do not endorse using Hooch for this purpose, nor do we have explicit data showing this to be the case.

The lid is a little loose, what can I do?

Because we use steel tins, the metal may distort due to temperature or impact. To tighten the lid, just squeeze opposite sides of the bottom's rim to reshape the bottom very slightly into an oval. The lid can also become too tight when the bottom is warped, so try to pinch the bottom's rim to make it more circular.

How old do you have to be to purchase Hooch Snuff?

Although there are no laws prohibiting the sale of Hooch Snuff to minors, we do not promote the sale to anyone under the age of 18.

Why do people in Georgia get a special discount?

Since Chattahoochee Herbal Snuff's corporate location is in Georgia, only residents of Georgia would be responsible for paying sales tax. We don't believe that local customers should have to pay more than customers across the country, so we provide a 6.54 % discount to all Georgia customers. This offsets the 7% sales tax we then collect from all Georgia residents.

What shipping method do you use?

We use the US Postal Service for all shipping. Purchases of three or less tins will be shipped First Class mail. Purchases of four or more tines will be shipped via Priority Mail, typically two to three days for delivery.

Do you ship outside the United States and Canada?

We currently only ship to the United States and Canada. We will be shipping internationally shortly, though.
